President

The chapter president serves as the executive officer of the chapter and is responsible for its operations.  She encourages teamwork to achieve chapter goals and understands the chapter’s relationships with the Advisory Board, the House Board, the Fraternity and the community.  The chapter President fosters communication at all Fraternity levels.

 

Vice President-Standards
The Vice President for Standards and her committee are responsible for the maintenance of Fraternity standards and policies. This includes educating the chapter about the role of the Standards Committee as well as addressing violations of Fraternity standards and Policies for the best interest of the individual and chapter. She and her committee promote unity, sisterhood, spirit and morale.

Vice President- Academic Excellence
The VP-AE is responsible for upholding maintaining the chapter’s academic excellence and integrity. The VP-AE is encourages intellectual growth among the women of the chapter along with support in their academic ventures. As a chapter scholastic achievement is out top priority in our search of academic excellence.

Public Relations
The Public Relations Chairman is responsible for promoting positive relations with the surrounding community, upholding the chapter's higly regarded reputation by sponsoring chapter activities which endorse positive public relations, and educating the chapter on the importance of community involvement and reputable conduct.

Recording Secretary
The Recording Secretary is responsible for keeping a permanent record of Chapter and Chapter Council minutes, call roll and take attendance at Chapter and Programs, collect written excuses of members unable to attend meetings, advise the President on items of information recorded in the minutes of the previous meeting, and maintaining Chapter Bylaws. Other duties include rewarding attendance and sending copies of the Chapter Minutes to our advisors and PDC.

Vice President- Organization
The VPO is responsible for facilitating the placement of Chapter members on committees and explaining the role that the committees play within the Chapter. The VPO will compile Chapter surveys and produce a LAP report that will then be used to create an Action Plan. The VPO will also aide in assisting all the committees to attain their goals, and thus the Chapter goals.

Risk Management
Risk Management educates other chapter members on unsafe behaviors and situations and how to avoid them. This includes topics such as hazing, harassment, medical issues, and the risks of drugs and alcohol. Also discussed is appropriate public behavior and representation of the chapter. She also ensures that all social events follow the WSU Panhellenic and Kappa Kappa Gamma Nationals bylaws and regulations.

Marshal
The Marshal is the steward of Fraternity tradition, decorum and the Ritual. Her efforts help preserve the link that ties together generations of Kappa sisters through the shared beauty of Ritual. She does this by ensuring that the same words, same songs and same order are spoken, sung and observed at special services. Some roles the marshal include planing and coordinating all Inspiration Period activities and all activities related to Initiation, educate and nurture chapter's appreciation for Ritual, serve as a parliamentarian, and ensure chapter meetings and special services are conducted properly.

Treasurer
The chapter treasurer is responsible for educating the chapter members about financial responsibilities, making them aware of chapter expenses and exlpaining the purpose of their fees. The chapter treasurer prepares and maintains yearly the chapter budget. She tracks and collects all member balances (accounts receivable) and disburses all fees to Fraternity Headquarters and the House Board. The chapter Treasurer compiles annual financial reports.
